Beaumont Studios is the ceramics practice of artist and photographer Lucy Schaeffer. Lucy creates small-batch, handbuilt and wheel-thrown pottery for the table, home, and garden, including sculptural vessels, serving pieces, mugs, bowls, platters, ornaments, candles, and one-of-a-kind ceramic objects.

Made in her Croton-on-Hudson studio, the work is colorful, functional, and full of personality — inspired by food, flowers, gardens, domestic rituals, family stories, and the joy of handmade objects. Many pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, designed to be used every day, while larger vessels and sculptural works are made as expressive objects for shelves, walls, and special spaces.

Beaumont Studios pieces are available through Lucy’s online store, seasonal craft fairs, local exhibitions, and select retailers. Lucy also teaches ceramics and serves as Director of Programming for Hudson River Potters.
