Your interiors, beautifully captured
I love working directly with interior designers and architects to photograph finished spaces with accuracy, intention, and care. My goal is to create images that feel timeless and true—photographs you can confidently use for client presentations, press, and your portfolio.
My Process
A thoughtful, collaborative approach
I’ve photographed interiors for over twenty years for publications, real estate brands, interior designers, and architects.
I approach each project as a collaboration, taking time to understand your design priorities before the shoot. On set, I work efficiently and with restraint—paying close attention to light, composition, and details—so the finished images feel true to the space and the work behind it.
Plan with Purpose
Before each shoot, we review scouting images, shot priorities, and intended image use in a brief virtual meeting. This planning helps identify key views, align on important details, and create a clear plan for the day—so the photography supports both the design and how you will ultimately use the images.
Collaboration
On set, I shoot tethered so we can review images together as we go, allowing for real-time feedback and adjustments. Whether you’re working with a prop stylist or adding finishing touches yourself, we collaborate closely to ensure every element feels cohesive and considered. Each project is photographed with a balance of wide views and intimate details, capturing both the overall design and the textures that define it.
Refinement
I aim to get images as close to finished as possible on the shoot day, and global adjustments for color, contrast, and balance as I review selects. From there, a focused retouching pass addresses small visual distractions—such as vents, outlets, or minor imperfections—resulting in clean, polished images that still feel natural and true to the space.

"Lucy was amazing! I hired her to take photographs of one of my interior design projects in Brooklyn Heights, and she immediately understood how to capture the look & feel of the space. She was so professional, warm and easy to work with. She promptly arrived with all her equipment, and set up everything easily and with no-fuss. Lucy had a clear and thoughtful vision for each shot - overalls, details, and more - and we worked together seamlessly. The final outcome exceeded my expectations. The photos turned out so beautiful, bright and magical! Thank you Lucy for your professionalism and talent."
