How long is my mini session?

Each shoot session is 20 minutes—plenty of time to get a great group shot, individuals of kids, some fun extras, and allow you to get on with your day. Please arrive a little early for your appointment, they are scheduled back-to-back so being ready on time is key.

How many pictures do I get?

Included in your session fee is your choice of 5 high res images. After our session I will post a little gallery of 20-30 shots and you can make your selection. You will also have the option to purchase additional shots: $60/for one, $90/for 3, $200 for full gallery.

Do I get any prints?

No, but it’s easy and affordable to make your own as I don’t charge markup on this! You will have the high res files and do not have to pay me any fees to make prints with your choice of vendor. Mpix prints start at $0.36. Smugmug, Shutterstock, and others also offer inexpensive prints. If you’d like a high quality professional lab to make a print for framing, I recommend working with my lab Loupe Digital.

How soon do you post the pictures?

Galleries will be live within a week of our shoot. If you need it sooner, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

What should we wear?

I will send out a style guide and what to do to get ready PDF before your shoot session! But in general, comfortable clothes without any large patterns, logos/writing are best. I will provide more tips as well.

Can I book a Mini Session for headshots?

YES! Mini Sessions are just short, efficient photo sessions. Perfect for family portraits, but they also work for individuals who need fresh headshots. Please don’t expect both in one mini session, however. If you want family photos AND a headshot session, please book two blocks or consider a private shoot session to make sure we have time for everything you need.
