Handmade by Lucy Schaeffer | Beaumont Studios

Every teapot Lucy makes is fully functional art, intended to be used and also look pretty on an open shelf. The body and spout are hand-thrown and assembled when the clay is at the leatherhard stage. A series of small holes where the spout meets the body will strain large tea leaves but for smaller loose-leaf tea a tea ball is recommended, as is handwashing.

The top knob is hand-woven with parachute cord into a “monkey claw” knot.
