Handle made from driftwood found along the Hudson River and attached with bamboo cording.


Every teapot Lucy makes is fully functional art, intended to be used and also look pretty on an open shelf. The body and spout are hand-thrown and assembled when the clay is at the leatherhard stage. A series of small holes where the spout meets the body will strain large tea leaves but for smaller loose-leaf tea a tea ball is recommended.
